Haymax – Product Review

“I wait ages for the weather to get better, when it gets to summer. I am allergic to it”.”

Haymax Product Review

HayMax is a natural, organic allergen barrier balm (sometimes referred to as a nasal balm) that is applied to the rim of the nostrils. It can also be applied to the bones of the eyes. HayMax has been proven to reduce dust and pet allergens and more than a third of pollen from entering the body. Less allergen, less reaction.

HayMax is made from a blend of beeswax and seed oils, to which we add essential oils or aloe vera leaf juice extracts to create three additional varieties of the original version, HayMax Pure, for added choice and to suit your personal preference. HayMax is natural, organic and drug free, so it’s suitable for children and pregnant and breastfeeding women to use.

You can choose from five varieties of HayMax allergen barrier balm: Pure, Aloe Vera, Lavender, Frankincense and Kids. Each variety works in exactly the same way, by restricting the amount of dust and pet allergens and pollen that get into the body. All you do is wipe the balm onto the base of your nostrils and around your eyes. Magic.

It is very simple.  HayMax acts as a trap – or a blocker. HayMax applied to the bottom of the nose traps some of the pollen, dust or pet allergen before it enters the body. If there is less allergen in the body, there’s less for the body to react against. Less allergen – Less reaction (and for some people, none at all!)

If HayMax  traps enough of the pollen, dust or pet allergen to leave you with less allergen in your body than it takes for you to react, then you won’t react. If it takes out enough allergen that you are just around the point where you react, then you may find that that although you don’t stop sneezing, you sneeze less. Or, if you are particularly sensitive, or if the pollen (or other allergen) count is very high, there might be enough pollen getting in to your body that you continue to react. The good news here is that you can use HayMax in conjunction with anything else you find helpful. In this case, the other product you use may have less of a job to do, since there is less pollen, dust or pet allergen inside you.

HayMax does not cure hay fever, dust and pet allergies,  it works on the cause to try to reduce or, in some cases,  even eliminate the effects of the allergen.

HayMax is so easy to use. Simply wipe a small amount on your finger (or cotton swab) and rub around the rim of each nostril and/or the bones of the eyes (not too close or in the eyes).

Apply first thing in the morning, keep a pot with you and re-apply whenever needed throughout the day. Apply before bed to trap pollen grains that are blown in through your window, or that might have landed on your pillow during the day. If you’re allergic to dust or pets, applying before bed will trap dust mite allergens and pet dander as you sleep.

NOTE: Give your nose a good blow and wash your face to remove pollen, dust or pet allergens before you apply HayMax in the morning. A saline nasal rinse, spray or neti pot can be helpful for clearing the nasal passages of allergens which have already entered the nose. HayMax will  not be able to trap allergens once they are already in the nasal tract.

My review of Myself using Haymax:

I am super impressed withy results of Haymax, I have always suffered really bad with hayfever and nothing seems to work. Until I found this of course. My favourite one of the whole lot is the frankincense smell, I can literally smother my nose and cheeks with it. I wasn’t to keen on the lavender one but that’s just because I don’t really like the smell of lavender. I didn’t find the balm sticky or too oily at all, it is easy to apply and lasts such a long time. When I was using it on holiday I would just apply every time I applied my suncream just incase but I probably didn’t need too. The only problem I have with using the balm is that I have long acrylic nails so at first I found it tricky to get out the tub, until I just used the top of the nail then continued to rub it in. I have had the best summer yet with my hayfever, sometimes I wake up with stingy eyes so I will apply the balm and within half an hour they are much better. I have been so impressed with my results that I have mentioned the product to so many people and even given some of them away because I was kindly gifted so many types. These are products I would definatly spend my money on in the future when my pot finally runs out.

My review of Lennon using Haymax:

Lennon is super lucky and hasn’t really ever suffered with hayfever but whenever he has been getting a runny nose or cold I will use the Haymax. I find it helps his nose to stay clear, help him breathe and prevents the nostrils from getting sore. Whilst on holiday Lennon got a bit of heat rash on his neck, I didn’t have anything to help at the time so I applied some of his haymax and it actually helped clear it up. His balm doesn’t smell but is the same consistency as the adults ones. You wouldn’t even realise it was a children’s one. I used the Haymax balm on my niece when she was round and it helped her hayfever so well that my sister went to purchase some straight away.

My Mum’s review:

At first I was a bit apprehensive about giving Haymax ago because I hadn’t ever heard of them, I waited for Jade to try it out before I did. I will mention that the smell of lavender is beautiful, it’s my favourite scent so when I noticed that they had one of those I pretty much just stole it. I knew Jade didn’t like the smell and she wouldn’t mind. I was expecting the balm to be super oily and I was worried it would leave shiny marks on my face but it didn’t. You couldn’t even notice I had applied it and it lasts for a long time. I never liked to admit that I had hayfever and just brushed off my sneezing and itchy eyes to a cold. Now that I have used this and I don’t get those symptoms I will happily admit I had hayfever but will also highly recommend Haymax.
